Table (my work)

This is a drawing of some things in the table. the sun is coming from the left side thats why you can see everything which are looking to the right side is darker. I think there are some problems with flowers and some other thinks. There is no motion in this picture but in the left side of the table you can see some little movement of cloth and you can see inside the cloth, you can see the foot of the table. There are many shapes on the cloth. I think the proportions are right. Tis picture is little bit balanced to the right because in the right side you can see many things, the most weight is in the right side and in the left side you can see a negative space on the wall. I think there is no rithm.

  1. Rhythm is created when you repeat an element, such as line or shape. For that reason, I would say that there is quite a bit of rhythm in the light and dark values on the folds of the cloth. These folds also create visual movement, leading your eye into the composition. Be careful where the lines lead though -- in this case a kind of triangle pointing to the easel at the back. Is that what you want the viewer to focus on?

You have done an excellent job of creating contrast and variety through your use of values. Just be careful of where you place greatest contrast, so that the focal point really stands out and the composition is balanced.
